iPhone 6 Rumour Mill - iPhone 6 in June?
A bit of fun...The rumours are big around the web this week talking about the iPhone 6 having reached a production stage. An analyst called Peter Misek has predicted it will be a 4.8'' so called Phablet (phone / tablet like Samsung Note 2) and there will be an iPhone mini. Production is expected in June.
other predictions are that it will sport:
- A super HD camera
- Near Field Communications technology (as many Samsung do but no one is actually using in my opinion!)
- improved battery life
- 128GB of storage
- A variety of colours (to increase appeal to Asian market ?).
While, I have to say that in the Far East, one of the major reasons Samsung is doing better than Apple is the phone size (its was jarring to me for example, when I was working in Taiwan and Singapore to see dainty Asian hands holding huge 5.5 inch Samsung Note's) - If Apple are to release such a phone in June, less than a year since the launch of the iPhone 5 - is a sign that the competition has reached super extreme proportions and that the recent pressures on Apple both in sales performance and market sentiment, have actually become too much?.
Just imagine how upsetting it is for people like me who invested in the iPhone 5 even before my contract expired. In the "good old days" you had an assurance that you would at least get one year out of your device, by buying a premium Apple product.
