We provide a host of training, coaching and mentoring services to help our clients get the best out of themselves and their staff. In training we explain best practice techniques, in mentoring we work hand-in-hand with your team to demonstrate these techniques in action, and in coaching we help our clients to achieve their own goals and objectives.
Working in technology can be an arduous and lonely affair. This is because unlike other areas in the business, where people have some idea about what you might be talking about (like human resources or marketing) technology is by its very nature complicated. It uses complicated language, and tends to attract people who are deep and often brilliant problem solvers, rather than necessarily the best communicators.
This also means it can be hard to find mentors in senior management to help the IT function understand its role and deliver to its maximum.
How can we help you?
We have a team of seasoned industry experts who have operated at all levels, through the ranks to the board room, who have seen a great number of different IT operations. They help a client assess the IT and allied departments and then help the key stakeholders in the department by mentoring, training and coaching them, as appropriate.
- Training: we explain best practice techniques
- Mentoring: we work hand-in-hand with your team to demonstrate these techniques in action (that could be for example team leadership, IT strategy and documentation, helping put together steering groups and improved cross functional communication)
- Coaching: generally a one-on-one meeting with individuals to help them realise their own business and personal goals.
Some members of our team are also qualified with modern behaviour changing tools such as Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP); and the up-and-coming ‘Clean Language’ methodology to assist the whole team in becoming more effective communicators and operators.
